Design-to-build
Strong UI and UX applied to the flows that actually decide revenue: search, availability, checkout, payment and activation. We design travel products that travellers trust and complete, not just interfaces that look good in a portfolio.

What's Included?

Analysis
We start where your revenue leaks: the points in the journey where travellers hesitate, get confused, or drop out. That means looking hard at your real booking funnel, search, results, availability, checkout, payment, and for apps, onboarding and activation. We are not interested in redesigning things that already work. We are interested in the specific moments where a clearer layout, a calmer flow, or a faster path to booked turns a browser into a paying customer. Design decisions here are made against conversion, not taste.
Design

We design the full travel product experience: interface, flows, and the visual system that holds it together. This is proven work, not theory. On Nimbus we designed the app, brand visuals and a fully responsive marketing site from scratch, including a clean plan picker built for both business and leisure travellers and an onboarding so light it is nearly invisible, because for a traveller who just landed, there is no room for guesswork. On JapanDen we delivered a full website redesign, admin panel UI, and product UX fixes, turning an incomplete, hard-to-use build into a platform travellers and staff can actually navigate. On JRPass we brought mobile responsive design across a high-traffic platform with previously inconsistent layouts, part of the work its management credited with improved usability.

Depending on what your product needs, our design work covers booking and checkout flow design, search and results UX, mobile and responsive design, app onboarding and activation flows, admin and operational UI that your team can actually use, and brand and visual systems. Design is delivered ready to build, in step with engineering, so conversion gains actually ship instead of dying in translation between a design file and a developer.

Validation
A design is only as good as what it does to your numbers. We validate against the moments that matter: can a traveller find what they want, trust the page enough to enter payment, and complete the booking without friction. On real devices, in real conditions, not just in a clean mockup. Where a flow touches payment or activation, design and engineering are tested together, because a beautiful checkout that fails at the payment step is not a good design, it is a lost sale.
Handover & Iteration
Design does not end at a handoff file. We work alongside engineering through build so the shipped product matches the intent, and we keep iterating after launch on the flows that drive conversion and retention. As part of an ongoing engagement, design becomes continuous: test a change, see whether it moves conversion, keep what works. This is where design and our AI-accelerated development combine, we can put a design change in front of real users quickly and cheaply, and invest fully only in what proves out, with senior review on anything that touches payments or bookings.
Two delivery strategies
Delivery strategy
Focused
conversion work
A defined engagement on a specific flow, checkout, search, or onboarding, where the conversion upside is clear and measurable.
Delivery strategy
Design as
part of build
Design folded into a wider platform or app engagement, so product, design and engineering move together from day one.
